Sermon:           “Being Christian Together”

Theme:            The People of God focus on building healthy relationships rather than on winning meaningless conflicts.

Purpose:          We will examine the motivations that spawn and enlarge conflicts.

Scriptures:       Romans 13:8-14  Put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh to gratify it’s desires.

Matthew 18:15-20      If another member of the church sins, go and point out the fault privately, and then seek reconciliation.

Questions:  What causes conflict and disputes to continue in the relationships we share? How does being faithful to Jesus, who taught forgiveness and compassion, influence how we deal with differences and disagreements? How can good people disagree in ways that are healthy and reflect the love of Christ? What feeds and continues the conflicts to breed?
