May 14 Worship-Sixth Sunday of Easter

Join us on May 14 as the Rev. Mary Council-Austin leads us in worship at 9am In-Person and Live Stream Worship.

Pastor Mary Council-Austin is a retired United Methodist pastor. She served congregations in the Janesville-Beloit area, Fond du Lac, Racine, Neenah, and Milwaukee. Rev. Mary served as the Associate General Secretary for the United Methodist Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church located in Washington, DC, and Director of the Church Center for the United Nations Seminar Learning Programs in New York City. She was appointed a college chaplain at Howard University in Washington, DC. Pastor Mary also served as the Assistant to the President of Marian University for Diversity. Pastor Mary received the Donald G. Jones Annual Leadership Award from the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce in 2004.

Born in eastern North Carolina, she is one of ten children born to Revs Charles and Martha Council. Rev. Mary has called Fond du Lac home for many years. Her late husband Clarence Austin spent many years as a Natural Resources Conservation leader across Wisconsin and the Midwest. Rev Mary has enjoyed the fellowship and faith journey with First Presbyterian Church over the years.
