Join us as Rev. Dr. Craig Alwin leads in 9 am worship with the sermon, “Finding Faith.” Here are a few things to consider in preparation for worship on Sunday:
- How has our society caused us to compartmentalize various aspects of our faith, such as prayer, justice, scripture, forgiveness, love, and compassion?
- How might a singular focus on one aspect of faith limit God’s full potential?
- How might our modern focus on being the church limit God’s full intent for us to be Christians?
- How might we more fully experience God’s justice through this parable’s bookends of prayer and faithfulness?
“He has told you, human one, what is good and what the Lord requires from you: to do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8 (CEB)
“And yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” – Luke 18:8b
