Sunday, September 19, 2021 we will gather in person in the sanctuary at 9:00. Masks are required so that we may reduce the spread of infection and protect those who are vulnerable among us. The bulletin for that service may be found HERE. We will be recognizing our 2020 confirmands, who will be taking part in leading the service.
We will also be offering our YouTube worship which may be found HERE, and the bulletin for that service is HERE. An audio podcast of the service is found HERE. The Radio version of the service (shorter) is found by clicking HERE.
Sermon: The Faith we Live
Theme: God desires that we live in healthy relationship and joy with one another.
Purpose: To examine ourselves and seek to know God in ways that will enable us to be healthy.
Scriptures: James 3:13-4:3, 7-8a Who is wise and understanding? Show by your good life.
Mark 9:30-37 Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and a servant of all.
Questions: How should we view conflict so as to live well and experience the fullness of joy that God desires for us? What happens when we continually view conflict as being other people’s fault rather than seek the change or growth that is within conflicts? How do we shape our perceptions either as process of growth or battles to be won? How do we come to live and grow through the changes taking place in our lives?
