Unfortunately, 3 people were deferred, so getting plenty of iron in your diet is important to ensure you can donate. Two people donated two units of double red cells, 15 units of blood supporting 51 local patients. On behalf of those patients and their families, thank you!! Remember, you can donate one unit of blood every 56 days. One hour of your time every 56 days could save a life. Is that too much to ask?
