April 14 Maundy Thursday Worship

We will be gathering on April 14th at 7:00 pm to remember the night Jesus had his last meal with the disciples and his personal sacrifice for our sins. The service will begin with Confession and Holy Communion.

Maundy comes from the Latin word mandatum, which means “commandment.” In the act of washing the Apostle’s feet, Jesus gives them the commandment to “love and serve one another as I have loved you.”
Due to COVID protocol we will be using the individual pre-packaged cups and wafers. (We will not gather around the table, as we have in the past.) Once we have taken communion together, we will remove the communion -ware and replace them with candles helping us to switch to a more subdued atmosphere for the Seven Last Words of Christ.
