May 11 Worship – Fourth Sunday of Easter

Join us for 9 am Worship as Rev. Dr. Craig Alwin shares the sermon entitled, “Miracles of New Life.” Sermon Questions based on Acts 9:36-43. Below are questions to consider for this Sunday’s sermon.

  • What does Peter’s willingness to come to Tabitha say about how we should respond to those in need?
  • What differences does it make to distinguish between praying for a cure, which seems to dictate to God our desired outcome, and praying for healing, which can come in a hundred unexpected ways?
  • What are some differences between the raising of Tabitha and the resurrection of Jesus?
  • What does the raising of Tabitha show us about God’s loving purposes?
  • Where do we see miracles of new life that may not include resuscitation after physical death?
