April 6 Worship with Communion

Join us on April 6 at the 9 am worship service with communion as Rev. Dr. Craig Alwin shares the sermon “Preparing for Jesus’ Death.” Here are a few awareness questions to consider for this Sunday’s sermon.

  • When have you been wrongly accused of doing something wrong or being wasteful?
  • How did that feel?
  • When have you wrongly accused someone else? How did that feel?
  • Why was Mary’s “waste” of the expensive perfume justified?
  • What impact might this event have had on the others gathered in Lazarus’ house?
  • How might God be calling us to “waste” things of worldly value to serve the poor that are always among us?
